An afternoon with a Country Pop Star

Yaaaaaay! I feel so glad and so excited because later this afternoon I'll be meeting my favorite artist, Taylor Swift. I’m also happy because I am her in PARIS. LIKE, OMG. So to continue what I was saying earlier, I asked her if I can meet her at the coffee shop downtown to have a small chit-chat with her, and then she said yes. AND I'M LIKE, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU MADE ME HAPPY FOR SAYING YES!", and she's like "You're very much welcome.". After that she told me to send her a message of when are we going to me, like what time are we going to meet at the shop. So I send her a message saying: "Hi Taylor! Let's meet at the coffee shop at exactly 3 o'clock this afternoon. Hope you would really be there! I promise that I won't be late. ^_^ See you there! :* Lovelots. XOXO". Then she replied: "I will surely be there. ^_^".

There is still thirty minutes before 3 o'clock when I arrived at the said coffee shop where we'll meet. You may think that I'm so excited; I’ll be like, WHO WOULDN’T BE IF YOU’RE GOING TO MEET YOUR FAVORITE SINGER? Like, DUH? It’s like once and a lifetime chance. So yeah, I’m ready to wait for her even it’ll take forever to see her. After some minutes I ordered 2 cheesecakes for us, and before going to this coffee shop I dropped by to Starbucks to buy her favorite Mocha Frappuccino (of course I both two). So I waited for a few minutes more while listening to her songs in my iPad. Hmmm, I’m wondering why isn’t she here yet… Then I looked outside the window and FINALLY! I saw her walking.

When she entered the shop…

Taylor: Oh, Hi. Are you Ivana?
Me: … (still under the effect of star stuck.)
Taylor: Uhmm? Hello?. (snaps her finger)
Me: Oh! Yes. I’m so sorry, I just… I just… I just can’t believe you’re here! In front of me. I’m like, “OH MY GOSH AM I DREAMING?”.
Taylor: Oh my dear, you are not dreaming, this is all true.
Me: Wow, Thank you for coming.
T: Your welcome.
M: So I ordered you a cheesecake and a Mocha Frappuccino.
T: Wow. These are all my favorite. How’d you know?
M: Well ,that’s the secret of a fangirl. ^_^
T: Oh well, I don’t treat you as a fan right now, and I won’t treat you like one again.
M: (me thinking that it was a bad thing became teary eyed) BUT WHY? L
T: hey, keep calm. Of course I won’t treat you like a fan anymore because you’re my friend already. (smiles sweetly)
M: (still processing what she said)
T: …
M: Wait, WHAT? ^_^ YOU CONSIDER ME AS A FRIEND OF YOURS? WOOOOOW. I can’t believe this. Well, it’s my pleasure to be your friend. WAAAAAAH. You don’t know how happy am I right now. Thank you very much.
J
T: you’re pretty much welcome. ^_^
M: So I’ve been wanting to ask you this question. And I’ll ask you directly already…
T: Uhmm, okay go on.
M: To whom do you dedicate your song entitled “Back to December”?
T: You really don’t know?
M: Well I kinda know but, I just want to confirm it and hear it from you.
J
T: Well, it is for Taylor Lautner.
M: I knew it! So why did you broke up? I’m really a big fan of Taylor squared.
T:  I was just too busy to stay in a relationship that time. I tried to say sorry but it was too late, that’s why I wrote Back to December.
M: Oh.
T: So don’t you have any questions to ask?
M: I have plenty of them but I guess I’ll just ask you a few of them. ^_^ So here’s another question. Is there any chance for you and Ed Sheeran to be… uhm, you know? In some sort of a relationship?
T: Wow. Haha. I think we’re cool in being just friends. We’re really good friends.
M: oh? Really. Well. Okay. Another one, why did you and Harry Styles broke up?
T: Uhmm, it’s because some of their fans, you know? The directioners sent some death threats to me, that’s why we chose to end our relationship to stop all their fans from sending hate and death threats to me.
M: ugggggh. L So here’s another one.
T: What is it?
M: Why did you broke up with John Mayer?
T: Because, I was still young that time.
M: Oh, just like what other teenagers say. So here’s another question. What was the first song you wrote?
T: The first one that I really finished that wasn’t like a structureless, eight-minute song was when I was 12 and I wrote this song called “Lucky You” about this girl who’s different. She believes in herself. It somehow got leaked online and it is a terrifying experience when people bring it up because I’m like, “I sound like a chipmunk. I’m 12 in that.” But you look back on your first experiences with writing and every one of those experiences turns you into who you’re going to be. And so I don’t think you can ever discount the creations you make when you’re really young.
M: So what was your childhood like?
T: I grew up on a Christmas tree farm. We grew Christmas trees for other people to put in their houses. And we had all kinds of animals running around, and I remember having a lot of room to run and just come up with wild stories, and I feel like it was a time for me to really let my imagination run wild. But, you know, I don’t necessarily think you have to have a lot of wide open space in order to let your imagination run wild. You can see beauty and fantasy and things that aren’t real and things that are magical in any place you grow up if you think hard enough and reach into your mind. But my childhood was really fun. It was a blast, so thank you for asking about it. That was a good question.
M: Wow, so your childhood was awesome.
T: Yes. So let me ask you a question.
M: Uhm, Okay. Go on. (flashes a very wide smile)
T: Do you have a best friend?
M: Uhm. Yeah, and you know what’s great? She is also named Abigail, like your best friend Abigail Anderson. And uhmmm… actually she’s coming cover this shop to meet you too. Is that okay?
T: Yes, why not? I think that would be fine and fun at the same time.
M: Yaaaay! Thanks. (looks at the entrance of the shop) Oh, look, she’s already here! Hey Abie over here!
(Abigail sat beside me)
Abie: Wow, so you’re not joking?
M: Geeez, duuh? Can’t you see it’s for real. ^_^
A: Wooooah.
M: So Taylor, I want you to meet my best friend, Abie. Abie, you know. This is Taylor.
A: Hi Taylor! ^_^ Sorry, I thought she was joking when she told me that she’ll be meeting you here. It’s so nice to meet you.
T: Oh, That’s fine. ^_^ Nice to meet you too.
M: Did you know that back then in our grade school days, we were singing your songs in duet like Tear Drops on My Guitar.
A: And also Speak now. We often sing that in chorus.
T: Aww, that’s cute.
M: Tear Drops on My Guitar was Abie’s favorite that time actually.
T: Well, it’s good to hear that some other people likes my songs.
M and A: We don’t like it, really. WE ONLY LOVE IT.
T: Aww, you two are so cute. J I’m missing my best friend because of the two of you. So Ivana, what is your favorite song of mine?
M: I actually love all your songs. But there is this one song that I can relate to as of now. And that is Invisible.
T: why is it your favorite?
M: you see, as what I’ve said, I can relate to it so much. I’m experiencing that thing. Like you’re so invisible to one person because that person is busy looking at the girl he loves.
T: aww. Well that’s sad. How about you Abi?
A: Well, one of my favorite is still Tear Drops on My Guitar. I can also relate myself to this song at some instances.
T: Oh… don’t worry those tears will soon dry up...
(her phone rings)
T: Girls, I think I have to go now.
M: Aw. Why too soon? Well. Go ahead. ^_^ Thank you for coming!
A: Yeah Thank you for the time.
T: You two are welcome.
M: Uhm, Taylor! Can we have a picture?
T: Well, that’s great.
M: Abi, can you?
A: of course… 1 … 2 … Say Cheese
M: Thank you so much. I really had fun. Goodbye
A: Me too. Take Care, bye.
T: Thank you too. For the cheesecake and the Frappuccino. And thanks for your time. You two are adorable. Stay Strong. ^_^ Bye.

The Nine Stations of Violation in CNSHS

This day will really be a great day! At last, I would see my best friend again. The plane where she rode will arrive at the airport this morning, and I’ll be there to fetch her. After that, we will go to my school first before going to their house for a welcome home party, as what I promised to give her a tour inside our school.

So when I went to the airport, I waited for a while. Then I heard the airport personnel announce something saying that the plane from Paris already arrived, I immediately felt the excitement to see her and hug her tightly. So, I quickly rushed to the arrival area and patiently waited for her. After a couple of minutes I already see her walking through the hallway then I rushed to her and hug her tightly. I was really glad to see her again. After that we went to the parking area to look for the car that will take us to my school.

After some time, we arrived safely in my school. Upon entering the Gate of our school, which is I consider to be the first station of violation in our school. I explained to her why I considered it as the first station. I told her that this is the station where all the violations start. That violation is allowing the students without I.D. to enter the school, when first of all it already violates the school policy that states that we have to go to school in a complete uniform and identification card is a part of the uniform that is required to be worn.

Then near the gate is the second station of violation, and it is the Guard House. I told her that I consider the Guard house another station because another violation occurs here. That is when the late comers are being allowed to enter the school even if they are already late. We, students are required to go to school in a specific time and that is before 7 am. Students are required to go to school before 7 am. We are already considered late when we come to school at 6:45 am. After seeing the guard house, we went straight to the LRC, or supposed to be the library of the whole school. We stopped at the library for quite some time and I told her that this is the third station, it is because the library is often closed early in the morning and it closes early in the afternoon also and sometimes we are not able to borrow books because of the absence of personnel in charge. Upon walking further with my best friend we’ve reached the Canteen one which is the fourth station. In this canteen the queue of students during break time is always long. There are times that students skip some persons in line, and enter in the middle of the line not considering the others at the back who waited so long just to pay for their snacks. So after telling her that, we grabbed some snacks to eat.

After eating some snacks we headed to the Science lab. I told her that some students violate the rules when they enter the Sci Lab without wearing any shoe socks.  That’s why I consider this the fifth station of violation. After that we went to the field. I told her that this is the sixth station, wherein students violate the rules that we shouldn’t walk through the grass but instead we should use the pathway. We stayed at the field for some time and talk about how was her stay in Paris, and I’m happy to know that her stay there was great. Then after that we went to the canteen 2 to buy some water. Then I told her that it was the seventh station, because foods there were expensive. Expensive enough to make other students buy their food outside. When we finished drinking, we went to our room because I was to get something. Then I told her that our room was the eighth station of violation wherein every student violates the rule that we must speak in English language. I told her that it is actually every room in the school. Students do not speak in English. And by that we went outside. When we already went outside we sat at one of the waiting shed. I told her that the ninth station is the store across the street wherein it is the cause of some littering of the students inside the school. Some students take and leave their garbage inside the school. So after all the tour we made inside the school, we waited for them car that will take us to their house for their Welcome Home party.
